Requesting an Editor Account
Campus users can request a course editor account by completing the online account request. To make the request, use the editor account request form. You do not need an account to use step.transfer.suny.edu, read information within the site, or share public resources. Only users who will maintain or adjust campus data should request an account.
Only three accounts per campus can be granted at this time. Campus users must use their SUNY (.edu) email address to be verified.
Any campus faculty or staff member who will provide updates to the following resources should request an account.
- Campus Course Equivalency Configurations
This includes critical parameters such as your term types, numbering schema, restricted/hidden courses and course subjects and institutional identification practices (CEEB, IPEDS etc..). - Course Equivalency Data
Course equivalency editors are users who adjust, proof, or maintain course-to-course equivalencies at the campus, and are tasked with ensuring their accuracy on the suny.edu sites. - Transfer Path Core Courses
Any campus user who is charged with maintaining, adding, or removing core courses for their campus would use this access to do so directly via the online tools provided on the site.
