Students learn essential research methods using statistical approaches in the empirical study of behavioral sciences. Topics include the use of descriptive statistics, measures of central tendency and variability, probability, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, chi square, correlation, and regression. Students learn to comprehend and evaluate data analyses presented in research literature from the social sciences.
