This course provides a preparatory examination of the dynamic field of exercise science, including foundational concepts, career opportunities, professional practice, ethics, certification and licensure, and professionalism. May include hands-on activities to facilitate experiential learning of exercise and fitness concepts through a scientific lens. Offered every semester.
