This course provides an introduction to experimental design concepts and laboratory techniques in biology. Students will learn to develop and test hypotheses, apply appropriate quantitative methods for data analysis, and communicate their results effectively. Students will develop proficiency in basic laboratory and field techniques such as record keeping, measurement, microscopy, dissection, and field sampling. Offered every semester.
