Lectures provide an introduction to the scientific study of birds, covering everything from anatomy and physiology, through to evolution, classification and behavior. Indoor & outdoor labs will emphasize adaptive morphology as well as identification, ecology and natural history of local species. Students are required to attend a weekend field trip and also two Sunday excursions.
