ECH 101
Intro Early Child Education
Concurrent enrollment in ECH 103 or 106 is required.Recommended background: PSY 215. Course examinesthe history and development of early childhood educationas well as current trends and issues. The needs ofthe young child (age 0 to 8) will be studied for the purposeof applying the principles of growth and developmentto the use of appropriate methods, materials andactivities. The development of skills to work with children,families and the community will be emphasized.
