Prerequisite: PSY 101. Focusing on workingwith children in an educational setting, courseintroduces students to the various exceptionalities,characteristics of children with exceptionalities,federal and state laws, educational implications,and strategies for working effectively with familiesand other professionals. Off-campus observationsmay be required with students providing their owntransportation.
