Students often describe the transfer process as confusing and difficult to navigate. SUNY is committed to changing that perception—making transfer a clear, supportive, and student-centered experience.

Join us for an in-depth session on the SUNY Common Transfer Steps Communication Framework and aligned Automatic Second Review Procedures. Both policies are designed to bring clarity and consistency to the transfer process. This framework establishes shared steps and language to make transfer pathways more transparent for students, reducing confusion and attempts to dispel the perceived “transfer maze”.

By creating a unified approach to communication while honoring campus-specific processes, SUNY aims to ensure information is delivered clearly, consistently, and effectively. Learn how this model fosters a common understanding across campuses and empowers students to navigate their transfer journey with confidence.
