It ensures consistency, transparency, and equitable treatment of students who have successfully completed commonly pursued standardized examinations. This policy further ensures that AP and IB credit practices across SUNY uphold system-wide expectations for academic quality, equity, and clarity, while allowing campuses flexibility to maintain curricular standards.
