Intro to U.S. Politics
This introduction to power and politics in the U.S. explores the Declaration of Independence and the Constituion; public opinion, interest groups, social movements, and voting; the instituions of Congress, the Presidency and the Supreme Court; and the making of current policies. Emphasis is placed on issues of power, democracy, and political and social change. Offered every semester.
