Modern and Contemporary Art
Prerequisites: Completion of remedial courses in English and Reading.
Art from 1940 to the present, with special attention given to modern European and American art as a foundation. A study of the contributions of individual artists and movements, with an examination of the development of new approaches to form and the creative experience.
