Intro to Civil Eng Technology
An introductory course in the art of engineering designed to acclimate the students to the engineering profession and to acquaint them with the techniques and methodologies of engineering design. The "design" aspect of the course consists of an introduction to computer integration (as it applies to the engineering profession), graphical techniques, and design oriented problems using analysis software. The objectives of the design section entail the generation of engineering related problems. (1 lecture, 3 laboratory hours) Laboratory fee applies.
