Organic Chemistry II
Prerequisites: Minimum of "C" in CHE 201.
This is the second course of the CHE 201 - CHE 202 sequence. This 2nd course in organic chemistry covers modern spectroscopic techniques and the characteristic reactions of the major classes of organic compounds. A mechanistic approach is emphasized. Laboratory activities include organic synthesis, qualitative analysis, and instrumental techniques. (3 lecture, 6 laboratory hours) Laboratory fee applies.
