Prerequisites: Students must have satisfied all MAT, ENG 001 and RDG 001 developmental course requirements prior to starting this course.
Students will not receive credit for both ITE 101 and CMP 103. This course offers a broad-based introduction to the field of Information Technology (IT) including its evolution, current trends and future directions. Students will be introduced to the various aspects of IT along with an understanding of the technical support that is provided to employees and organizations. IT fundamentals, operating systems and hardware, web development, networking, and information and database systems will be covered.
