An introduction to the dynamic aspects of the plant world, including principles of classification, physiology, a survey of the plan kingdom, conservation, ecology and evolution. Laboratory work deals with physiological experiments, plant identification, life histories, and morphology. Field trips are scheduled.Prerequisite: BIO 105
