Foundation course in two-dimensional design. Exploration of historical and contemporary concepts of space and pictorial composition. Studio problems employing elements of line, texture, shape, form and color. A basic course for painting, graphics, photography and commercial art. Note: Fulfills SUNY-GE The Arts.
