Introduction to the principal forces that shaped Europe's past and its interactions with other parts of the world, from antiquity to the Early Modern Era. Students will engage with issues regarding political, economic, intellectual, social, and cultural changes over time as well as be introduced to methods and debates within the discipline of History.
