Music Theory I (Diatonicism)
For students seeking a thorough understanding of music theory. Emphasis on all scales, keys, intervals, rhythm, chords, and their inversion. Study of species counterpoint. Introduction to four-part writing with figured bass. Analysis of examples from the repertoire. Note: Fulfills SUNY-GE The Arts.
