Race Class Gender & Ethnicity
An examination of how factors such as race, gender, and ethnicity are articulated in complex societies. A comparative framework is developed while investigating the historical and contemporary situations of the following groups within American society: 1) African American; 2) Native American; 3) Latino American; 4) Jewish American; and, 5) Women. [Prerequisite: ANT 101 or SOC 101]
