This provides an introduction to the history of the early modem world and connections forged between the states of early modem Europe and those of Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Major events covered will include (but are not limited to) European interactions with major empires in Asia, contact with the Americas, global religious conflict and exchange; the development of science and thinking leading up to the Industrial and French Revolutions will be emphasized.
