Abnormal Psychology

This course reviews the historical perspective on abnormal behaviors and provides a survey of the etiology of disorders, the techniques for diagnosis and contemporary treatments. Illustrative case studies will be used to understand specific disorders. Students will be expected to think critically, and apply their knowledge in identifying disorders and suggesting possible treatments.
