Introduction to Painting teaches painting concepts and skills through beginning-level oil painting problems in color, form, space, paint surface, pictorial organization and content. The course develops personal expression and aesthetic, visual, tactile, and kinesthetic sensitivity. It examines form and content in works by great masters, past and present.
