A study of the principles of Macroeconomics is intended to give students a working knowledge of the operation of the economy as a whole. It encompasses the measurement of national income, aggregate output, price-levels, and interest rates in a market economy. Particular attention is given to the issues of unemployment, and inflation of such an economy, and examines the merits and demerits of various government policies directed towards them.
