An advanced conversation/composition course with intensive practice in oral and written Spanish. Selected representative works of Spanish authors will be read. Because the course deals mainly with Spanish fiction, emphasis will be given to familiarizing the student with this narrative in order to explore the connection between language and style as well as the literary trends and the social and cultural contexts of the periods for comparison and contrast.Prerequisite(s): 4 or more years of high school Spanish or SPA 244.Credits: 3
