Primarily for Physical Education majors. This course does not satisfy requirements for Nursing AAS or Liberal Arts and Sciences AS programs. This is the second course of a one-year, lecture-laboratory sequence. Lecture topics include the endocrine system, the respiratory system, the digestive system, the cardiovascular system, the urinary system, fluid and electrolyte balance, and metabolism. Particular emphasis is placed on the role these systems play in human athletic performance. Prerequisite: SCI 2120 Human Performance-A and P I; Corequisite: SCI 2123 Human Performance-A and P II Lab
