This course is a study of the origins, development, structure, and functions of American national government. This course discusses the development of the Constitution, the branches of government, federalism, civil rights, and civil liberties. The course explores political participation, behavior, public opinion, and ideology. The course also explores the struggles for political equality and representation. Prerequisite: None (3:3,0)
