Linear motion, force, work and mechanical energy, power, momentum, torque, rotational motion, thermal physics, and the gas laws are studied. This is a non-calculus course, but competence in high-school algebra, plane geometry, and plane trigonometry is assumed. This course includes three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week and meets General Education natural laboratory science requirements. (NS) Prerequisites: MATH 128 or higher (4:3,3)
