PHYS 210
Physics I: Mechanics & Heat
This is the first calculus-based physics course for science and engineering students. Emphasis is placed on mechanics, i.e., kinematics, kinetics, work-energy, and impulse- momentum. An introduction to wave motion and thermodynamics is provided. (NS) Prerequisite: MATH 210 or permission of the instructor Corequisite: MATH 210 (if not taken as prerequisite) (4: 3, 3) Fall
