This course studies poetic technique and form, studies contemporary poetry and its venues today, and discusses student poems in a workshop format. Frequent writing and reading assignments as well as written peer reviews will be included in the course. Introduction to portfolio development will occur. Students who earn a grade of C or above may continue by registering for three free elective credits. [Prerequisite: One course in ENG 102-110 as either pre-requisite or co-requisite]
