This course is designed to study the history of, corrections in the world. The history of, correction from 2000BC to the present will be, covered. This course will cover the following, areas: the American system of corrections, (including prisons); penitentiary; jails;, probation; parole; juvenile justice; and, alternate punishment concept/usages., Pre-requisite: CR 150 and CR 160 or permission, of instructor.
