(Formerly I CEN/I CSI 333.) Machine representation of numbers (two ' s compliment and floating point). Concepts of system level programming including dynamic memory management, hardware-software interface, storage management, compilation and linkage, multi-processing, and terminal I/O. Only one of I CEN/I CSI 333 or I ECE 233 may be taken for credit. Prerequisite(s): a grade of C or better in I CEN/I CSI/I ECE 213.
