DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

4 credits

A course in Ordinary Differential Equations, which is required of the students in the Engineering Science curriculum. It may be taken by qualified students in othercurriculums who plan to transfer mathematics credits to four-year institutions. Topics include: First-order differential equations, higher-order differential equations with constant and variable coefficients, applications of first and second-order linear equations, Laplace transforms, systems of linear differentialequations and numerical methods for ordinary differential equations (optional).
