Theories Interpersonal Comm
This course examines dyadic communication and the major variables that impact it. Some issues which will be examined are issues of gender, power, conflict, and culture. Nonverbal communication and the impacts of technology will also be included. Students are given opportunities through in-class exercises and writing assignments to learn new theories, apply them and to assess their competence in using them.3 credits (3 lecture hours), spring semesterThis course satisfies the Liberal Arts and Sciences requirement and the SUNY General Education Requirement for Humanities.
