A gateway course that introduces biology from a cellular and molecular perspective. Students will learn about the diversity of cellular life and the biological molecules which create it, along with structure and function of cell and organelle morphologies, cell division and the processes which maintain homeostasis such as transport, metabolism, and information flow. This course provides a foundation for further study in Biology. Offered every semester.
