This Honors lab science is designed for students with a strong background in science. Topics include evolution; differentiation of prokaryotes and eukaryotes; cell structure and metabolism; cell signaling; DNA, RNA and genetics; and gene translation to protein synthesis. Students will apply biological concepts to independent experimentation, analysis of scientific literature, data analysis, and investigation using the scientific method.
