Students will learn the fundamentals of computer architecture and assembly language programming in MIPS (Microprocessor without Interlocked Pipeline Stages). The topics include data representation, Boolean algebra, basic operators and instructions, subprogram calling, loading, and storing memory, program control, and the conversion of the assembly language program into machine code.
