This course will enable the student to gain familiarity with basic methods and techniques of engineering by recording/analyzing data and problem solving. The student will be introduced to engineering language including terminology, graphing, computational techniques and the use of MATLAB in solving engineering problems. The engineering design process is also explored. A knowledge of basic algebra and geometry is recommended.
