An analysis of different theoretical approaches to international relations and the problems of the world today. The emphasis is on present trends in international relations, issues of war and peace and the prospects for a peaceful world order or conflict. The purpose of this course is to help students think about how the world works based on conceptual foundation, contending perspectives and current problems of foreign policy.
