Current and historical psychological trends in the field of mental health and disorder are surveyed. Through both scientific and phenomenological methods, the causes of behavioral disorder and experience and explored from social, cultural and biological perspectives. The DSM-5 diagnoses are construed with categories along the normality/abnormality continuum, and major perspectives on personality disorganization are presented.
