Criminology
This course presents an overview of crime and delinquency in the United States. Sociological concepts, theories, and methods related to the study of crime will be examined. Particular attention will focus on trends and causes of crime as well as the relationship between crime and other major social institutions (family, education, economy, religion and politics).
