Prerequisite: SPN 212. This bridge course addresses techniques to improve writing skills and teaches students how to create a variety of writing modes, including summary, narration, review, opinion essay and literary analysis. Through a process approach to writing, students are guided to elaborate essays with clear organization, more complex sentence structures and advanced vocabulary. Compositions, oral presentations and a research paper are required.
