Focuses on social, cultural, historical, and philosophical foundations of education; changing roles of teachers within contexts of contemporary schools; and other programs serving children. Considers contexts for students at the early childhood, childhood, middle childhood, and adolescence levels, including students with disabilities and multilingual learners.
