Discusses topics such as the dimensions of wellness, stress, drug use and abuse, nutrition, weight control, the human microbiome, fitness, healthy relationships, infectious diseases and safety education. Additional course components include New York State certifications in Child Abuse Mandated Reporter, Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) and School Violence Prevention (SAVE).
