A study of organic compounds. Nomenclature, bonding, structure, stereochemistry, and reaction mechanisms with emphasis on substitution and elimination reactions are presented. Alkanes, alkyl halides, alkenes, alcohols, and basics of spectroscopy are studied. Pre-requisite: CH 102 with a grade of C or better.
