The Modern Novel
3 credits
Students will discuss and analyze some of the great novels in the period from 1900 to the present day. Students will learn to understand the novel as a separate genre and recognize the characteristics distinguishing the modern novel from earlier fiction. Prerequisites: ENG 1530. J occasionally.
