Drugs and Behavior
This course is designed to inform the student about the issue of chemical dependencies. Basic pharmacology in addition to the biological, psychological and sociological reasons for drug-seeking behavior will be discussed. Topics pertaining to both legal and illegal drug use, abuse and dependency will be covered. This will be accomplished through the use of lectures, videos, class discussions and reaction papers. Three class hours. 3 Credits
