Intermediate collegiate level study of vocal music with emphasis on developing diction, breath control, increasing vocal resonance, improving stage presence, and cultivating accuracy, artistry and musicianship. Students will study a wide variety of vocal materials; e.g., Elizabethian lute songs, classical and romantic art songs, as well as standards, ""pop"" styles, and Broadway show tunes. Three class hours. Prerequisites: MUS 121, prior vocal experience, or by audition. 3 Credits
