This course is an upper intermediate level course for students who are already proficient speakers of Spanish and have formal knowledge to the language. The course emphasizes the mastery of writing, reading, and oral communication skills, with particular attention given to the issues of Anglicism and interference of English, code switching, vocabulary building, orthography, and reading comprehension. Students will write compositions, make oral presentations and read materials of a cultural/literary nature, emphasizing the relationship between the culture of the United States and Hispanic culture.Prerequisite(s): SPA 244Credits: 3
