SURVEY OF EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN
3 credits
Studies the cognitive, emotional, social, physical, and motivational characteristics and educational requirements of exceptional children, focusing on students in N-12 settings. Reviews historical and political foundations of exceptional education. Exceptionalities at both ends of the continuum are examined. Field experience will be required. Offered Fall and Spring.
