Cultural Anthropology
This course is a general survey of the theories and methods of cultural anthropology. A holistic perspective is used to study the diversity of adaptations to physical and social environments. Emphasis will be placed upon cultural systems including language; technology and economy; stratification; family, kinship, and gender; legal and political systems; personality; religion; the arts; and cultural change. Pre/Corequisite: ENG 100- College Composition or placement in ENG 101- Research and Composition. 3 cr. 3 lec.
